Turnkey
renovation
in Savoie.
1970s house, apartment in a co-owned building, farmhouse or chalet: we design the renovation, put together the planning and grant files, and our salaried craftspeople carry out all the works. You sign once.
A turnkey renovation, in practice
“Turnkey” means you have nothing to organise: not the firms, not the authorisations, not the order of the works. Here is how a renovation runs with us.
Completed renovations
See all projects →Renovation company or project manager: why not both?
When renovating, people usually choose between a renovation company, which carries out the work but designs little, and a project manager, who draws up the design and then has third-party firms do the work. Atelier NovAlp designs the project like an architect and carries it out like a general contractor: our salaried craftspeople cover every trade, from demolition to painting.
That is what lets us give an overall price and keep to a schedule: there is no other firm to depend on. The detail of our trades is on our craftspeople page.
How much does a turnkey renovation cost?
The price depends on the level of renovation far more than on floor area. For a house in Savoie, our guide gives €250 to €450/m² for refreshing paintwork and floors, €800 to €1,500/m² for a complete renovation (reconfiguration, plumbing, electrics, insulation, finishes) and €1,500 to €2,500/m² for a major renovation including structural repair. Item-by-item breakdown: price of a renovation per m² in Savoie.
The quote is drawn up package by package and is valid for one month; if the works start later, it may be updated using the BT01 index, package by package. For grants and tax, see MaPrimeRénov' 2026 and VAT on renovation work.
Energy renovation: the part that qualifies for grants
Insulation of walls, roof and floors, windows and doors, ventilation, heating: when a renovation improves the performance of the home, part of the work can be funded. Atelier NovAlp is certified RGE CertiRénov, global renovation offer (no. CR-2026-73-0095, issued by CERQUAL, valid until 16 June 2029), a requirement for MaPrimeRénov' and CEE — see our RGE energy renovation page.
Our guides by item: uninsulated lofts, walls from the inside, ground floor, roof from the inside, sarking, roof renewal.
The order of works, the real difficulty
A renovation that goes wrong is almost always a badly sequenced renovation: the partition closed before a duct is run, the paint done before the plaster is repaired, the roof redone after the rafters are insulated. With a single team, the order is decided once, in the schedule, and it is kept.
In a co-ownership building, work inside your own unit does not need the approval of the owners' meeting as long as it affects neither the common parts nor the external appearance; otherwise a vote is required and we prepare the technical file. Access, working hours and protection of the common parts are agreed with the managing agent before work starts.

What ‘turnkey’ means to us
One contract for design and works, one point of contact, a written schedule. You approve the choices — plans, materials, finishes — and we organise everything else, planning authorisations and grant applications included.
And the same team from the first swing of the sledgehammer to the last coat of paint: our craftspeople are employees of the company, no part of the work is handed to another firm, except asbestos removal, which by legal obligation is entrusted to a certified company.
Package-by-package pricing
Each trade is priced separately; any update follows the BT01 index, package by package.
Authorisations and grants
Prior declaration (déclaration préalable), file for the co-ownership meeting, MaPrimeRénov' and CEE applications.
